She is operating alongside two of the other ships of the Cunard fleet, the Queen Victoria (sistership) and the Queen Mary 2. She is a modified Vista class, as she is larger than the original Vista class and the Signature class (fun fact: Queen Elizabeth is longer than Eurodam/Nieuw Amsterdam by 9 meters!). The Queen Elizabeth is the third ship in the Cunard Line to bear the name “Queen Elizabeth). She is the successor of the RMS Queen Elizabeth 2. She was built at the Fincantieri Monfalcone Shipyard in Italy. She was christened by Her Majesty the Queen.
