Having heard of your incredible skills with a bow, we developed a unique weapon suitable for your power. This weapon lasts 3 times longer than the bows you are accustomed to. It shoots 8 new arrows and is also compatible with the arrows you used to use, but will make them more powerful. Be careful where you point it.

The eight new arrows are these:

Explosive Arrows
Fire Arrows
Thor’s Arrow
Spreadshot Arrows
Ender Arrows
Web Arrows
Torch Arrows
Mining Arrows

Extra Features:

Critical Arrows (regular arrows)
Throwing Knife

Their Effects:

Explode upon contact with your target
Set fire to your target or a 3×3 area on the ground
Summon Thor’s Lightning from the sky upon your target
Breaks into 5 arrows mid-shot to damage a large range of enemies
Instantly teleports you to your target
Slow your enemy or trips them up with cobwebs
Places a torch your surroundings wherever you shoot it
Mines a 3x3x3 area instantly

Always lands a critical, no matter your situation
Can throw for major damage, or attack like a sword for minimal

This mod is NOT multiplayer-compatible. Play cautiously with friends.

How to install Hawkeye Mod for Minecraft 1.6.2 and up:

1. Run the latest launcher
2. Go to %appdata%/.minecraft/versions
3. Copy the directory named 1.6.2 and paste as 1.6.2 Hawkeye (or whatever you like, but everything must match) so there are now two copies.
4. Inside the new directory, rename the .jar and .json files to match directory (ex: 1.6.2 Hawkeye)
4a. The .jar should now look like 1.6.2 Hawkeye.jar
4b. The .json should now look like 1.6.2 Hawkeye.json (DO NOT DELETE/CHANGE THE .json EXTENSION)
5. Open the .json file with Notepad or your preferred text editor and change (at the beginning):
“id”: “1.6.2″
to
“id”: “1.6.2 Hawkeye”
6. Open the .jar file with WinRAR or 7zip
7. Drag the contents of ModLoader to the .jar file. (Important: must do first!)
8. Drag all the contents of the Hawkeye Mod to the .jar file
9. Delete META-INF
10. In Minecraft Launcher, select “new profile”
11. Under “Use version: ” select “release 1.6.2Mod”
12. Save, launch, and enjoy!
